Whether you are buying, selling or maintaining your home, Apex Home Inspection provides professional and quality services and guarantees you will get an unbiased, objective evaluation of the property. I strictly follow the Standards of Practice set forth by the Louisiana State Board of Home Inspectors.

I encourage you to be present for the walk through at the end. This will provide you with an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about the home you are buying or selling and understand what the inspection covers. As a highly trained inspectors, I will educate you about your home during the walkthrough. I will explain the general condition of the home and systems with you and your agent and we talk through any major issues that need to be addressed sooner rather than later.

I deliver an unbiased report, usually within 24 hours. by email or text available in HTML or PDF format. You will be able to see the items we discussed with images and video! I will always offer to take the time after the report to explain anything further to help you make an informed decision.

Wondering what’s included in a standard home inspection from Apex Home Inspection? Here is a quick overview of the services included in your home inspection, and the major systems that we analyze and assess throughout the process.

  • Roof

    The roof is one of the most costly and important structures. We will examine the roof, its structure, shingles/tiles, flashing, gutters, downspouts and more.

  • Exterior

    This includes the exterior walkways and doors, siding, eaves and soffits, fascia, paint, and other such elements of the home’s exterior.

  • HVAC

    We will test and examine the HVAC systems including ducts, filters, furnaces and air conditioning units.

  • Plumbing

    We will check all plumbing fixtures for proper function, including tubs, sinks, hoses, showers, water shut-off valves, and irrigation systems, if applicable, and look for leaks and other such flaws.

  • Electrical Systems

    We will check both interior and exterior electrical systems including service drops, service masts, grounding, outlets, meters, circuit breakers, and other such systems.

  • Appliances

    We will test and examine all major appliances like water heaters,  dishwashers, built-in appliances and more.

  • Doors, Windows & Interior

    We will check doors and windows for proper sealing and drafts, signs of water damage, and more. We will also check the condition of all interior spaces.

  • Foundations, Basements and Crawl Spaces

    We will examine the foundation, crawlspaces and basements to look for signs of things like past water damage, foundation cracking or shifting, and other such potentially expensive issues.

  • Attic, Ventilation & Insulation

    We  will examine the attic to ensure it is ventilated, check for moisture, assess the level of insulation, and more.
